Brightcove doubles customer base

Online video platform Brightcove has said it doubled its global customer base in the first half of 2010, bringing the total to 1,800 customers in 48 countries.

A third of the company’s revenue is now generated outside the US, which is a testament to its European and APAC expansion, opening offices in Spain and France as well as developing a fully localised player in Japan. Brightcove recently opened new country headquarters in Spain and France.
