Tele Columbus under no pressure to sell
German cable operator Tele Columbus is under no pressure to sell its assets after talks with rival operator Kabel Deutschland (KDG) failed, according to local reports.
KDG reportedly could not agree a price with Tele Columbus’ creditors Nikolaus & Co., who took over financial control of the Hanover-based company in January. The operator, which has around 2.3 million subscribers in the east of the country, is still on the lookout for buyers for either the whole company or for parts of it.
