Numéricable revamps triple-play offers, plans 3D VOD

French cable operator Numéricable has rebranded its digital set-top box and launched a number of new packages.

The operator has branded its digital receiver as the ncBox and has reorganised its triple-play services into three main packages. The ncBox HD pack for €29.90 gives access to 120 channels including six HD services, internet access up to 30Mbps and unlimited phone calls to about 100 international destinations. The ncBox HD Power pack for €39.90 gives 150 channels including 15 HD services, internet access up to 100Mbps and unlimited phone calls, while ncBox HD Premium for €49.90 offers 170 channels including 15 HD channels, 100Mbps internet access and unlimited calls.

Numéricable also plans to launch a 3D VOD service as soon as enough content is available, and will demonstrate the service in its retail outlets in the run-up to the launch.

The cable operator is also offering three TV-only packages ranging in price from €24.90 to €44.90. Numéricable is launching a number of promotional offers, with ncBox HD Power and ncBox HD Premium available at reduced rates for the first four months to subscribers who sign up before October 31.
