EchoStar chooses Widevine for SlingLoaded boxes

EchoStar Technologies and Sling Media have chosen Widevine to provide content security for content delivered by EchoStar SlingLoaded consumer devices.

SlingLoaded devices enable users to view content, including pay-TV content delivered to their TV, on PCs and other devices while on the move. Widevine DRM will be used to give additional security when viewers are watching or controlling TV programmes on additional devices.
