UK channel provider UKTV has unveiled plans to rollout HD versions of its Good Food and environment-focused Eden channels in the third and fourth quarters respectively. The channels will be available on BSkyBs pay-TV platform.
The Virgin Media/BBC Worldwide joint-ventureÂs Good Food channel, which will launch in HD on August 31 as a simulcast of the standard-definition service, has acquired new content including the third series of Man v Food, Good Chef Bad Chef, Top Chef Masters and NevenÂs Home Chef, as well as new commission Ronnie CorbettÂs Supper Club.
Eden HD will launch in October and will include shows such as Great Rift and South Pacific.
