Tanzania’s Clouds TV launches with MTV programming deal

Clouds TV has launched a new free-to-air youth skewing channel in Tanzania and has struck a programming deal with MTV Networks.

The channel has been launched by Clouds, an entertainment company that currently operates two nightclubs and three radio stations in the country. The deal with MTV Networks Africa will see a raft of MTV programming available to viewers from launch. It will air music content from MTV Base from 18:00-19:00 as well as a late night slot at 22:00 every night. Shows available will include Big Base Beats, Run’s House, My Super Sweet 16 andPimp My Ride.
