Humax launches Freeview Plus HD set-top

Humax has launched a HD DVR for the UK’s Freeview platform. The HDR-FOX T2 for Freeview Plus HD will go on sale on August 16 for £329 (€394).

It will offer advanced recording features on a 500GB hard drive, home networking and content sharing capabilities as well as access to HD content. Catch-up services will be available later this year, Humax said.

Through its Ethernet port, the HDR-FOX T2 can connect with a home network to share content with PCs or other selected storage devices using Powerline, Ethernet cable or wireless USB accessories.
