Ukraine clears channels for launch

National Geographic and Discovery Communications moved a step closer to launching new channels in Ukraine after the regulator increased the number of foreign channels that will be made available in the country.

The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council has added Nat Geo Music and Discovery Investigation to the list of international channels that are allowed to be rebroadcast. This follows the addition of Russian network Who is Who and Viasat Nature earlier this month.
