Hispasat boosts profits

Spanish satellite operator Hispasat has posted a 2009 full-year profit of €70.6m, up 50.3% year-on-year, on revenues of €150.8m.

Hispasat said that revenues from its 61° West position servicing the Americas were over €47.1m for the year. Some 67.3% of Hispasat’s space capacity revenue was from European and North African clients, while America represented 32.7%.
