Zon chooses IBM for software systems upgrade

Portuguese pay-TV operator Zon Multimédia is investing €1.2m to consolidate its IT and network management software, using software from IBM.

According to IBM, the project has seen Zon consolidate its network management into a single centralised view, combining IT and networking via its integrated service management solutions. IBM is supplying its Tivoli Netcool and Monitoring product, Composite Application Manager, OMNibus and Network Manager software.
