IPTV set-top specialist Amino has announced that it has sold and shipped its three millionth set-top box, just over a year after reaching the two million sales milestone.
Amino launched its first product in 2002 and has since developed a range of set-top boxes for network operators as well as hospitality and enterprise markets. The company recently expanded its offering, with the launch of the Amino Freedom media centre targeting the hybrid/OTT market.
Amino CEO Andrew Burke said: Our products are now used in 85 countries around the world  with over 800 customers ranging from major tier one operators to very locally-focused operators. Reaching this important milestone, within 16 months of announcing the two million sales mark, is a strong vindication of our consistent innovation in bringing new and exciting products to market.Â
