DMC expands capability with Pilat upgrade

Liberty Global’s content arm Chellomedia has expanded its deployment of Pilat Media’s Integrated Broadcast Management System (IBMS) at its Digital Media Centre (DMC) playout facility in the Netherlands.

The DMC has upgraded to Pilat’s .NET-based IBMS version 6.The DMC uses IBMS to deliver about 40 channels, and will use the upgrade to accelerate the launch of new channels, according to Pilat.
