Kabel BW completes 100Mbps upgrade

German cable operator Kabel BW says it has now completed the upgrade of its network to enable the delivery of 100Mbps internet services to almost all subscribers in its Baden-Württemberg footprint, with a network that passes about 7.7 million homes in total.

Kabel BW has invested about €0.5bn in upgrading the network over the past four and a half years, using fibre-to-the-building technology.
