Canal Plus available on iPad

French pay-TV operator Canal Plus has made its channels available on the Apple iPad.

The Canal Plus premium channels and a selection of CanalSat channels, which are already available on Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch along with video-on-demand services, will be available on the iPad via Wi-Fi and 3G or 3G Plus.

The application is available to download free of charge to Canal Plus subscribers, giving access to Canal Plus programmes and those of information channel i>Tele. In addition, subscribers will be able to access the Canal Plus, Canal Plus Cinéma, Canal Plus Sport, Canal Plus Decale and Canal Plus Family channels along with Canal Plus à la demande and a bouquet of almost 30 CanalSat channels will be available.
Five-star subscribers will receive the service for no extra charge, while three and four-star customers will be able to receive it for €5 a month.
