Cabovisão chooses Sigma Systems for OSS

Portuguese pay-TV operator Cabovisão has selected Sigma Systems’ OSS solutions to provision PacketCable and Session Initiation Protocol SIP devices.

Cabovisão will deploy the Device Provisioning Manager, which is part of the Sigma Systems Service Management Portfolio of IP service fulfilment solutions. Sigma said this would allow Cabovisão to simplify activation and management of its triple-play bundle, cost-effectively scale as its subscriber base grows and auto-configure and provision business and residential customer-premises equipment, including PacketCable, SIP, DOCSIS 3.0 and IPv6 devices.
