Total TV goes hybrid

Adriatic DTH provider Total TV, owned by Serbian cable operator SBB, has launched a hybrid satellite/DVB-T service.

Total TV subscribers can now get a hybrid HD DTH/DVB-T set-top with integrated tuners for satellite and terrestrial signals, giving them access to over 100 channels. The DVR includes a 320GB hard drive that can store up to 75 hours of SD or 30 hours of HD programmes. It will also allow Total TV to launch VOD services.
