Philips Net TV chooses TeliaSonera Carrier

TeliaSonera International Carrier’s Media Distribution Service has been chosen by consumer electronics giant Philips to distribute its Philips Net TV video-on-demand service.

The TeliaSonera platform will be used to manage the distribution of video content from upload through to end users via TeliaSonera’s fibre-optic network. Philips has already signed up VOD partners including VideoFutur in France and Belgium, Video Land in Benelux and film2home in the Nordic region. Other websites available via Philips Net TV include YouTube, Dailymotion and Screendreams.
