TF1 looks to boost from TMC and NT1 acquisitions

French commercial broadcaster TF1 is eyeing revenue growth of 4% for 2010 after it posted an 11% rise in first quarter revenues and a 13% increase in ad revenues.
The broadcaster said that its acquisition of digital terrestrial channels TMC and NT1, for which it paid Groupe AB 192m, will give it a substantial boost for its full year financials. The company posted a rise in first quarter revenues to Â597m, while operating profit was Â44m, compared with a net loss of Â12m this time last year.
