Telenor to discontinue Hungarian mobile TV

Telenor is set to discontinue its mobile TV service in Hungary following poor take up.

Telenor-owned mobile operator Pannon, which is set to rebrand later this year to Telenor Hungary, will stop the service that has been running since 2005 from May because of the losses incurred. The company will redirect resources to invest in its mobile broadband infrastructure.
