Prisa and Telecinco finalise Cuatro deal
Spanish media company Prisa has agreed the terms and timetable for the sale of its free-to-air TV station Cuatro and a 22% stake in pay-TV operator Digital Plus to Telecinco.
In December, Telecinco agreed to pay 1.05bn in cash and shares for the assets. The deal is expected to be completed this summer. On Wednesday, Telecinco shareholders approved a capital hike plan to help fund the deal.
