Prisa and Telecinco finalise Cuatro deal

Spanish media company Prisa has agreed the terms and timetable for the sale of its free-to-air TV station Cuatro and a 22% stake in pay-TV operator Digital Plus to Telecinco.

In December, Telecinco agreed to pay €1.05bn in cash and shares for the assets. The deal is expected to be completed this summer. On Wednesday, Telecinco shareholders approved a capital hike plan to help fund the deal.
