MGM Worldwide Networks, a division of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, has signed a deal with On Digital Media to launch The MGM Channel in South Africa on the basic tier of its new pay-TV satellite platform, Top-TV. Â
The deal is marks the first time The MGM Channel will be available in South Africa. It will join the launch line-up of Top-TV, which will debut on May 1. ODM will launch Top-TV with a total of 55 channels, 25 of which will be in its basic offering. Â
MGM Worldwide Networks now offers over 20 separate branded networks, including high definition channels.
