Russian service provider Akado has launched a digital cable TV service over the network of Schelkovtelekom in the Shchelkovo region to the north-east of Moscow.
The move is part of a previously announced programme of offering services over the networks of suburban partner companies. Similar partnerships have been struck with affiliate operators in Lyubertsy, Balashikha, Troitsk, Ivanteevka and Krasnogorsk.
Separately, Akado has launched Russian Orthodox channel Spas on its network. The channel, which offers programming related to Orthodox culture and Russian history, will be part of Akados digital Mix package.
