Broadcast services provider Technicolor has announced that it is providing an online streaming service for movie and TV series rental service Lovefilm.com.
Under the agreement, Technicolor is providing a steaming service, coupled with proprietary session management services designed to support multiple business models and to provide usage statistics. The streaming service is supported by Technicolors digital supply chain service, which includes content ingest, secure hosting on TechnicolorÂs in-house platform, policy-based fulfilment and delivery to the end consumer.
