Clix chooses Orca for search and recommendation

IPTV middleware company Orca Interactive has announced that Portuguese telco Sonaecom has selected its content discovery solution for the Optimius Clix IPTV service. Orca’s Compass solution is being used to provide personalised recommendations for VOD and linear channels as well as an explore mode, where viewers can navigate through content that is related to content they have already watched.
