TF1 reported sharp falls in both revenue and profit in 2009. The French free-to-air broadcasters annual revenues were Â2.4 billion, a 9% decrease year-on-year. Net profit was Â115 million, a 30% year-on-year decline.
Advertising revenue fell 13%, taking the total to Â1.4bn. However, net earnings and profit did increase in the last quarter of 2009 and TF1 said it expects to be in positive territory in 2010 with a forecast of modest revenue growth of 2%.
