Swedish video-on-demand service operator Voddler has received SEK26m (2.6m) in additional funding from the private equity Eqvitec Technology Fund.
Accordingly, EqvitecÂs Hadar Cars has joined the Voddler board and the private equity firm has become a shareholder in the Swedish company. Voddler content is delivered online and is available for a fee or ad-supported. It has about 400,000 customers. It plans to roll out its service beyond its native Sweden in the first quarter of this year, initially targeting the other Scandinavian countries.
