Virgin Media to offer free fixed-to-mobile calls

UK cable operator Virgin Media plans to offer new and existing customers free fixed-to-mobile calls within its own networks.

From April the operator will enable its fixed-line phone customers to call Virgin Mobile customers free of charge, which it says will make it the first UK phone provider to offer such a package.
