Romanian cable operator RCS & RDS has launched high-speed mobile internet services in Bucharest, offering speeds of up to 7.2Mbps.
The operator already offers 7.2Mbps mobile internet in the cities of Timisoara, Bihor, Brasov, Craiova, Constanta, Cluj and Iasi, with 384kbps available elsewhere in the country.
High-speed up to 100Mbps fixed-line broadband subscribers will be able to receive the mobile service at no extra charge, while 50Mbps customers and Digi TV subscribers will be charged RON10 (2.40). Digi Net Mobile-only customers will be charged RON15.
