Sky Deutschland wins Premier League rights

Sky Deutschland has acquired the exclusive German rights to English Premier League games until 2013.

The deal, which covers TV, the internet and mobile in Germany and Austria, will see 380 games per season broadcast by the German pay-TV provider, including about 130 in HD.

Sky Deutschland already holds to rights to the German Bundesliga, the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, the DFB Cup and the FIFA World Cup in 2010.
