RCS & RDS launches mobile internet in Bucharest

Romanian cable operator RCS & RDS has begun commercialising new mobile internet services in Bucharest.

Digi Net Mobile now offers download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps in Bucharest, Timisoara, Bihor, Brasov, Craiova, Constanta, Cluj and Iasi. The operator offers speeds of 384kbps elsewhere in the country.

Subscribers to the operator’s 100Mbps internet service via fibre or cable will have access to mobile internet for free, while lower-tier subscribers will pay a small fee.
