Czech Rio Media acquires Erkor’s Olomouc network

Czech triple-play service provider Rio Media has acquired part of internet provider Erkor’s network and customer base.

Rio Media has acquired Erkor’s network and customers in the city of Olomouc in eastern Moravia and the nearby towns of Prostejov and Sternberk.

Rio Media currently has about 120,000 active customers via fixed and wireless networks, mostly in the northern part of the country.
