Five signs YouTube deal

UK broadcaster Five has signed a deal with YouTube that sees full length shows made available on the video sharing site from today.

YouTube viewers can now watch episodes from series including The Hotel Inspector, The Gadget Show, Neighbours and Home and Away. Five will make new programmes available via YouTube shortly after TV broadcast and the website’s users will also be able to access around 250 hours of Five’s archive content.

The deal follows a recent similar move between YouTube and Channel 4.
