Switzerland-based conditional access and TV technology company Kudelski has extended the deadline for remaining OpenTV shareholders to tender their shares until midnight on Wednesday, US eastern time.
Kudelski said it was pleased with the progress it has already made to acquire all of the shares in OpenTV that it did not already own. Kudelski has so far succeeded in acquiring about 80% of the shares it did not already hold in the US interactive TV technology company, giving it 96% of the voting rights.
