Belgacom supports Start2Surf

Belgian telco Belgacom has announced its support for the government’s newly-launched Start2Surf campaign that is designed to ensure home internet access for all.

From November 20 Belgacom will offer a low cost Start2Surf package that includes a brand-new computer equipped with the necessary software to surf the internet, create documents and presentations and for saving and editing photographs. The offer also includes one year of protection against viruses and spam, a day of free computer and internet training and a free helpline. Customers can also take advantage of a tax credit equivalent to a 21% discount off the price of the package.
