Motorola has launched a management system designed to enable pay-TV operators to efficiently manage expanding video-on-demand libraries and increase the quantity of on-demand content across TV, web, mobile and consumer electronic platforms.
Motorolas communications convergence engine enhanced asset management system (CCE EAMS) uses advanced metadata management tools and workflow management to control the lifecycle of VOD, non-VOD content and advertising assets within the on-demand network.
Motorola said that by providing a single point for TV, web and mobile on-demand asset ingestion and preparation, the platform enables service providers to deliver video and multimedia services to consumers regardless of location or access device.
