Poles are willing to pay additional fees to use services including multiroom DVR, according to a survey carried out by pay-TV provider Cyfra Plus.
Questioned about the appeal of technologies including HDTV, video-on-demand and DVR, Cyfra Pluss respondents expressed particular enthusiasm for multiroom services with a single subscription, according to Cyfra Plus. They also expressed enthusiasm for DVR services. Over 11% of Cyfra Plus subscribers currently receive at least one HD service.
Cyfra Plus said that its survey also revealed that 160,000 of its subscribers were equipped with hybrid receivers allowing them to view digital-terrestrial TV. The company said that this meant that its subscribers formed the largest single group able to receive DTT.
