Bloomberg to launch in Turkey

Business channel Bloomberg and media company Ciner Media have agreed to launch a new channel in Turkey.

BloombergHT will launch later this year, offering financial and business news on various cable and satellite platforms across Turkey and the Turkish Republics.

Ciner Media will operate the channel, replicating in Turkey Bloomberg’s studios, production facilities and broadcast operations that are in place in New York, London and Hong Kong. Bloomberg will retain editorial control over the channel’s business content and will provide Ciner Media with access to the global Bloomberg News service. A dedicated website will follow the channel launch.
