Eurosport wins Australian carriage

France-based pan-European sports channel Eurosport has secured carriage on Australian pay-TV platforms Foxtel and Austar.

The channel, which is currently on a drive to expand its distribution in the Asia Pacific region, is already available in Australia on cable, IPTV and satellite platforms, but the deals with the two pay-TV platforms will considerably expand its presence.
