Tele Columbus sale rumours

Tele Columbus could soon be up for sale, according to local press reports citing the German cable operator’s owner Escaline.

Luxembourg-based Escaline owns Tele Columbus via its Orion Cable unit and has appointed Citigroup to help find new capital or investors and to advise on a potential sale.
Tele Columbus has three million customers, mainly in eastern Germany, and has an equity value of approximately €800m, but it also has debt of €950m.
