Euronews on Hungarian DTT

Pan-European news channel Euronews has revealed that it is conducting trial broadcasts on Hungary’s digital-terrestrial network.

Antenna Hungária, the Hungarian transmission company, has been broadcasting the channel to viewers in the Budapest, Kabhegy and Szentes regions on the MinDig TV digital-terrestrial platform since August 28. The addition of the channel, which is using the multi-audio broadcasting capability of the platform to deliver a service in English and German, takes the number of channels on the service to seven.
