TVP launches digital platform with Astra

Polish public broadcaster TVP has launched a new digital free-to-air platform using capacity from satellite operator SES Astra.

The broadcaster has extended its contract with Astra for the use of two transponders at the 19.2º East orbital position. The free-to-air offering includes TVP 1, TVP 2, TVP Info, TVP Polonia, TVP Kultura, TVP Sport, TVP Historia and TVP HD.
