Euronews to broadcast Ukrainian version

A Ukrainian-language version of Euronews is to broadcast on the country’s First National Channel in the form of 15-minute news bulletins following an agreement signed on Friday.

The agreement followed discussions between Ukrainian president Viktor Yushchenko and Euronews CEO Philippe Cayla. Cayla said he hoped to launch a full Ukrainian-language version of the channel soon.
