IBC numbers fall slightly

The number of attendees to the IBC trade show in Amsterdam was down by approximately 9% year-on-year shortly before the close of the exhibition later today.

The IBC had recorded 44,798 attendees by 10.30 this morning. The number of visitors (as opposed to visitors plus exhibitors) was down by 7.7%. IBC chief operating officer Michael Crimp said he was pleased with the figures, which had been widely expected to be down year-on-year as a result of the economic downturn.
