Versatel eyes Orion acquisition

German telco Versatel is the latest name to be linked with cable operator Orion.

Versatel is reported to be preparing the financials of a deal that would enable it to challenge Germany’s biggest cable operators Kabel Deutschland and Unitymedia, both of which are also believed to be interested in Orion.
