Northern Scotland gets switchover date

Over half a million homes in northern Scotland have been given dates for digital switchover.

Viewers in the Shetland Islands will begin the switchover process on May 5, while the Orkney Islands will follow on May 12 and Caithness on June 2. Switchover will begin in parts of the West Highlands and Islands in July, with Angus, Perth, Aberdeen and region, Morayshire and Inverness to follow in the autumn.
