UK-based broadband satellite group Avanti Communications has chosen Arianespace to launch its Hylas satellite in the first half of next year.
Hylas, which will be launched on either an Ariane 5 or Soyuz launcher from French Guiana, will be positioned at 33.5° West to deliver broadband services across Europe via Ka-band.
