Palestine government reinstates Al Jazeera
The government of the Palestine Authority have reinstated news broadcaster Al Jazeera following last weeks decision to suspend the Qatar-based channel.
However, authorities are continuing to prosecute the network, accusing it of incitement and unbalanced reporting following an interview with Tunis-based PLO and Fatah official Farouk Kaddoumi in which he accused Palestine Authority president Mahmoud Abbas, a longtime rival, of playing a role in the death of Yasser Arafat.
