MTV creates emerging markets production house

MTV Networks International has launched a new multi-platform production arm dedicated to emerging markets.

Impact Productions, based in Warsaw, will produce original content for MTVNI’s portfolio of channels including Viva and VH1 and brands including MTVNHD, as well as content for third parties. The unit, which include a digital media division produding ringtones, wallpaper and short-form content, will be headed by Magdalena Szwedkowicz, previously executive producer at ATM Grupa.
