Viasat launches HD in the Baltic states

Modern Times Group (MTG)-owned Viasat Broadcasting has launched its HDTV offering on its DTH pay-TV platform in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, beginning with the launch of National Geographic Channel HD.

The HD service in the Baltic states will be available to subscribers with an HD-ready set-top who take the Gold package. National Geographic Channel HD is broadcast in English in the region.
