UPC Slovakia expands digital TV to new towns

Cable operator UPC Slovakia has launched its digital TV service in a further two towns.

The service is now available to about 13,000 households in the town of Nové Zámky in the south-western part of the country and 5,000 households in Pezinok near Bratislava. The operator says it now has about 45,000 digital TV subscribers in eight towns and cities across the country.
